Members of the Broker Network will be able to take advantage of personal lines administration facilities offered by Cox Insurance after the two companies signed an exclusive deal.

The deal follows a successful pilot of the scheme, Broker Network Personal Insurance.

It offers network members administration facilities for their existing motor business, as well as the opportunity to generate income from new business enquiries, said the network.

It offers a premium and cover match facility to ensure the highest levels of competitiveness and retention of business, it added.

Broker Network chief executive Grant Ellis, said: “The pilot has proved how effective this facility is for our Members and is another example of the many added value opportunities that are available through the Network.”

Nick Potts, Managing Director of Cox's Broking and Insurance Services Division said: “In a market where margins are being squeezed and with the impending impact of FSA regulation, many brokers are choosing to divest themselves of their motor business.

“This facility allows Members of Broker Network to concentrate on other core and more profitable areas of business and earn high levels of commission on an ongoing basis.
