Insurance Times has teamed up with insurer RSA to fully explore talent attraction, retention and development in the UK general insurance market as the industry-wide war for talent continues
Insurance Times has launched a brand new report in conjunction with insurer RSA – the Talent Development Report 2024.
The report is based on an exclusive survey of 240 brokers, conducted by Insurance Times in Q3 2024, which sought to explore the insurance industry’s current war for talent and related topics. For example, the survey quizzed broker respondents on:
- How to develop employees’ skills – for today and in the future.
- The training opportunities available across the UK general insurance (UKGI) market.
- How to attract new talent into UKGI.
- The barriers facing brokers in terms of career progression.
- Why brokers exit UKGI.
Talent development remains an important topic within UKGI.
As the sector continues to grapple with regulatory changes, technology advancements and cost of living pressures, it has never been more important to have well trained, high quality staff at the backbone of organisations, driving the customer service and experience that consumers expect.
Within the Talent Development Report 2024, readers will be able to review both quantative and qualitative key findings from the initial broker survey, as well as gain insight from RSA commentators such as Sarah Mantle-Gray, director of total talent, and David Enoch, distribution and proposition director.
The report additionally discusses talent development and retention strategies, the challenges around implementing effective talent development frameworks, how UKGI can attract young professionals and the key skills UKGI staff will need in 10 years’ time.
The Talent Development Report 2024, in association with RSA, is now available.
