Police in Exmouth are to contact insurance companies as part of a campaign to crack down on boy racers in Exmouth, according to the Mid Devon Star.
Insurers will be informed by the police of any enhancement modifications that may have been made to vehicles to ensure that such changes are covered under the motor policies.
Such checks could result in the driver having to pay higher premiums or losing their insurance cover.
