Lloyd's broker Maestro Tasker is expanding its sport and leisure business line with the launch of its first golf product “4pro”.
The product will provide cover for golf-pro shops, operators and assistants and is available to all FSA authorised firms.
It launch is aimed at resolving the difficulty professional shops have in arranging cover.
Paul Tasker, chief executive, said: “There are now nearly 3,500 in the UK and many have experienced difficulty in arranging insurance because they carry high value stock and are often in remote areas.
“We developed 4pro to compliment the other offerings we have for the golf sector, such as Club House Cover and Player Cover.”
4pro will include competitive premiums, specially designed policy and sensible security measures.
Tasker said: “4pro provides all the necessary cover to ensure that professionals, their property and assistants are protected by excellent insurer security.
“[It] has been designed with practicality and cost in mind giving policyholders a practical approach to security and protections at their premises.”
Maestro Tasker is an appointed broker for more than 40 golf courses and provides cover for thousands of players and visitors.
