Zurich head of motor David Swann has quit the insurer, the second top figure to leave this year after the departure of head of personal business Ian Owen.
A successor has not been appointed, Swann's responsibilities are to be passed on to underwriting director Andy Baughan
A Zurich spokeswoman said: "I can confirm Dave Swann has decided to leave Zurich. Dave made a significant contribution to the business during the 25 years he worked for the company and we wish him well for the future.
"Going forward, the existing motor underwriting team will be managed directly by Andy Baughan, underwriting director."
