Zurich has launched a new policy to cover people against stalkers.

The new cover is included as standard in the insurer's private clients home policy.

Under the terms of the policy, Zurich offers £5,000 of cover in the event of a claimant having to relocate from their home as a result of being stalked.

The policy also offers £1,500 of cover towards the cost of improving the security of a claimant's home.

The stalking insurance forms part of Zurich's "lifestyle protection" policy which also covers: identity fraud; personal protection; medical consultation service; 24-hour lifestyle counselling helpline and trespass cover (£5,000 to restore land following any trespass).

Anna-Nicole Smith and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson are celebrities who have been victims of stalkers.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
