Standard Life Healthcare is to launch a health and well-being service to individual and corporate private medical insurance (PMI) customers.
The offering will give customers the chance to have a regular online health check.
Standard Life Healthcare chief executive Mike Hall said the government was widely publicising its initiative to improve the nation's health and the CBI has put sickness absence costs at £11.6bn a year. "This benefit will add tremendous value to the PMI proposition intermediaries are putting before their clients," said Hall.
A CD-Rom will help brokers sell the service.
