Withersnet has added two contractors to its network of subsidence repair specialists and superstructure contractors.
Underpin and Makegood PLC is based in Essex and handles above and below ground repairs in the north London postcode regions and associated home counties, while Olympus Construction, working from offices in Paignton (HQ), Poole, Bristol and Truro, provides superstructure repairs in the South West.
Withersnet, which has been in operation since 2004, operates as a self-managed network using a web-based central ‘hub' administrative system and collectively the panel has a capacity to manage some £10m worth of claims per annum.
Co-founder Rob Withers commented: “We‘re going from strength to strength as the insurance industry recognises the benefits of dealing with a network that provides a ‘one stop shop' handling substructure and superstructure repairs. We offer a central point for administration, work allocation and reporting procedures, provide 24/7 client access to our systems so they can monitor claims progress and subscribe to common professional standards.”
David Gakhar, managing director of Underpin and Makegood, said: “Its simplistic and transparent systems detail when we have to complete each stage of a claim and everyone can follow its progress, allowing us to better manage client expectations and deliver a great claims service.”
Trevor Barfoot, Olympus Construction managing director, commented: “This autonomous network approach is a winner for all parties. By joining forces with other contractors in a network we can deliver a national service to insurers, but with the strength of local knowledge. Another example of how contractors are evolving to meet the demands of its market.”
