TT Club insures the DP World global network of ports
TT Club will provide liability cover for London Gateway, the newly opened £1.5bn port located in Essex.
The specialist insurer of international transport and logistics has a 45-year history of providing liability and asset insurance for ports and terminals worldwide, both for container handling and other types of cargo.
The London Gateway, which was built by the Dubai-owned DP World, includes a large deep-water port and a logistics park that provides access by road and railway to London and the rest of the UK.
TT Club’s chief executive Charles Fenton said: “We have worked with DP World throughout its network of global terminals and are grateful to them for the opportunity to continue our partnership.
“London Gateway promises to be a very significant addition to the UK’s transport infrastructure located where it is, at the heart of the country’s largest consumer market.”
