Agency Underwriting Ltd (AUL) has appointed a wedding specialist to provide a broker-sold wedding insurance product.
Norwich-based Travellers Protection Services (TPS) will provide policy sales, fulfilment, medical screening and claims for the AUL-branded scheme. Cover will be available across three levels, with optional marquee and public liability extensions.
TPS already provides wedding schemes for Debenhams and Confetti, said TPS.
TPS sales manager Steve Browne said: “With only around 15% of all weddings currently insured, we believe that wedding insurance has good potential to grow, which will give good opportunities to brokers to build extra sales, both to existing customers and as an offer to attract new customers.”
