Towergate has purchased a Salisbury-based broker.
The acquisitive group has snapped up Salisbury-based RBPM General, a brokerage specialising in scheme and specialist insurance arrangements controlling £1m in gross written premiums.
John Brady, managing director of RBPM, commented: “I am delighted that we will be able to continue to offer our clients a high level of service in the knowledge that we will now have access to a much wider choice of products available through the Towergate organisation.”
Tony Proverbs, group sales and marketing director of Towergate Partnership, said: ”RBPM is a very good fit with our profile. They are a well-run specialist broker, and have particular strength in the archaeology field of insurance. This deal adds some great expertise to Towergate, and it will broaden RBPM's own potential.”
