SSP has appointed Barney Quinn as a non-executive director.
SSP said he will help the board continue to drive the company's growth and support its international development.
Quinn is a former board director of Sherwood International, an LSE listed provider of software and services to the insurance market, which was acquired by SunGard, the $3bn software and services group, in 2003.
He said: “SSP has world leading insurance technology which is well positioned to take advantage of the changes in the insurance market both in the UK and internationally.”
