More brokers will be able to take advantage of Royal & SunAlliance's (R&SA) Enterprise key client proposition after the insurer's decision to extend the service.
The service was piloted with nine brokers and will now be rolled out to a further six over the next few months.
R&SA small business and e-business director Simon Cooter said the decision was taken after the completion of the pilot's success.
The key client service will be available to brokers using the insurer's Enterprise and Enterprise Plus offerings for small businesses.
Brokers selected as key clients will have access to a dedicated R&SA team familiar with their company and their business plan. The insurer will also supply business development tools and marketing support.
Cooter said the new Enterprise service was designed specifically for those brokers who had or could develop a £1m+ book of premiums.
"There is a detailed selection process for the key client offering, but we will select brokers who have the best relationship with R&SA and are the most valuable to the company in terms of business," said Cooter.
The Enterprise offering is designed for shop and office single-rated package businesses, all van and business car commercial motor businesses, and property owners where the sum insured is less than £10m and combined businesses where the company's turnover is less than £1m.
