Insurance 4 Car launched a policy designed to reduce the cost of car hire insurance on US and Canadian rentals.
The policy offers comprehensive car rental insurance without the need for drivers to take out additional cover or extra daily premiums, said the company.
Insurance 4 Car hire includes collision damage waiver and loss damage waiver cover to protect the property of the rental company, meaning the renter would not be liable to pay the cost of damage in an accident, regardless of whose fault it was.
The policy includes supplemental liability insurance to protect the renter against claims for bodily injury, death or property damage, and has a liability limit of US$1m. Cover can be extended to additional drivers, said Insurance 4 Car.
