Primary Broker Services Holdings (PBSH) is set to roll out a motor fleet product to brokers through Primary Broker Services.
As revealed by Insurance Times in May (News, 11 May), the product will become a "flagship offering" for the virtual insurer.
Simon Taylor, marketing director for PBSH, said the fleet product would provide "a good opportunity for expansion".
Initially the product will be available to PBS brokers, but it will also be rolled out to PBSH subsidiaries ATD General and Rural Insurance Group.
"We are in motor fleet business for the long term," said Andy Jones, UK sales manager for PBS. "We see motor fleet as an excellent opportunity to strengthen and grow our existing broker relationships by addressing a larger proportion of their needs."
AXA is to partner with PBS to underwrite the product.
It comes after the insurer signed a three-year capacity deal with PBSH worth £75.6m annually.
Earlier this year Insurance Times revealed that PBSH's motor account was expected to generate between £5m and £6m in 2006 - between 2.5% and 5% of the £100m GWP targeted by PBSH this year.
Tim Rolfe, PBSH chief operating officer, said growth of the book would be accelerated in 2007 with the aim of reaching £20m GWP.
