Opus has celebrated its fifth anniversary by throwing a champagne breakfast for its employees. The business, formerly Heaths, was formed after a management buy-out in 1999.
Opus chief executive Ian Brice said the passing of five years proved the MBO was a success.
“Our performance levels are outstanding for a company that went through a MBO five years ago. MBOs often face difficulty when attempting to grow, but Opus continues to go from strength to strength.
"The fact that we are now in acquisition mode is testimony to how, with a dedicated team behind us, a company can successfully grow and succeed,” Brice said.
