’The changes in the team will simplify and focus our sales and distribution community,’ says head
Zurich UK has consolidated its commercial and retail distribution teams into one unit to help make trading with brokers easier.
The insurer has structured the newly created team so that brokers have a single point of contact in the business.
It will be led by Jacqui Kelly, head of sales and distribution, who will report to David Nichols, head of retail, and Frank Streidl, head of commercial.
“The changes in the team will simplify and focus our sales and distribution community and ensure we have the right engagement while continuing to build our service and propositions,” Kelly said.
“We remain focused on understanding our share of wallet with broker partners.
“The new consolidated team will allow us to work closer with brokers across their whole portfolio and support both them and our mutual customers with the breath of Zurich expertise.”
Feedback
The move, which came after the insurer took on feedback from partners, will not impact the customer team.

Nichols said: ”This new structure will allow for multiple access points into the business, with a single account manager in each case guiding brokers through their journey.
“The team is now structured to work closely and deliver success with the distribution channels they are aligned to, allowing us to react quickly in the marketplace and meet tomorrow prepared.”
