’I couldn’t be more excited as we continue to expand and broaden our distribution channels,’ says new appointee
Zurich UK has confirmed Jacqui Kelly as its permanent head of sales and distribution after taking up the role on an interim basis earlier this year, a statement released today (11 October 2023) said.
Kelly stepped into the role on 10 July 2023 after it was announced that Michelle Taylor would be joining Aviva as the strategic accounts director for its distribution business in January 2024.
Zurich UK said Kelly would now take up the role on a permanat basis, tasking her with driving growth in the retail business.
As part of this, she will be responsible for bolstering relationships with strategic partners and delivering on the insurer’s ambitions of securing new opportunities in the market.
“I am thrilled to lead our thriving team and couldn’t be more excited as we continue to expand and broaden our distribution channels, create new partnerships and deepen our existing relationships in the market,” Kelly said.
Experience
Kelly joined Zurich in 2005, starting out as a sales and service consultant before moving up the ladder.

Senior roles she has held in the business include head of broker proposition and initiatives and most recently head of strategic accounts.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
