’I’m excited to be leading Staysure into this new era of transformation,’ says new appointee
Travel insurance firm Staysure Group has appointed Finn Walsh as its new chief executive.
Walsh broke the news in a LinkedIn post today (3 January 2024) and said that he would lead the business “into this new era of transformation” in his new role as the top boss.
As part of this, he said that he would focus on how the firm delivers customer and employee experiences with a holistic, technology enabled and people-centric approach.
“To truly create the insurtech brand of the future, our focus needs to go beyond just customer experience and move to improving the total experience of the company,” Walsh added.
“I’m excited to be leading Staysure into this new era of transformation.”
Experience
Walsh joined Staysure Group in October 2022 as its group chief digital and information officer after spending three years at Hastings Direct.

In October 2023, he was promoted to chief customer and technology officer and took up his new role as top boss at the start of January.
“In the past year, we’ve delivered the foundations for future growth with our digital transformation strategy and we’re excited to take the next steps and launch these to our customers,” Walsh said.
His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
