Shaun Hooper, managing director at Close Brothers Premium Finance, discusses the firm’s entry for the Business Partner of the Year award
1. Why did you put yourselves forward for the Business Partner of the Year category?
As one of the UK’s leading providers of premium finance, we’re dedicated to building long-lasting relationships with brokers within the UK and Ireland. When our brokers are faced with a challenge, we’re there to support them.
When the FCA introduced new Consumer Duty regulations, we offered a comprehensive campaign to help inform and support brokers. We provided tailored training, a catalogue of materials and dedicated account managers to help them navigate through the changes.
The response from our brokers was overwhelming and we’re thrilled to be recognised by Insurance Times for the Business Partner of the Year award.
2. What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?
What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to providing brokers with exceptional support and tools to put their customers’ needs first and meet the Consumer Duty requirements.
This was a comprehensive campaign, with investment in practical solutions, specialist training, guides, market insight and our dedicated, expert colleagues to ensure our partners had everything they need to succeed.
3. What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?
Winning this award would be a testament of the team’s dedication and hard work in supporting our broker partners when they need us most.
It would also reinforce our position as a leading provider of premium finance in the UK and recognise the value of building long-lasting broker relationships.
