Conference attendees ready for an early exit on Wednesday 14 May 2025 will be able to saunter a short seven-minute walk to Hilton Manchester Deansgate’s cocktail bar, Cloud 23, where global (re)insurance business Aventum Group will be hosting a Brit pop themed shindig from 3.30pm.

The company will be providing food and drink alongside themed live music acts, to help delegates unwind after a hectic day patrolling the conference floor.

Allianz, meanwhile, will be taking up occupancy at trendy Drake and Morgan site The Anthologist in St Peter’s Square on Wednesday evening, where food, drinks and what the insurer described as “exciting entertainment” will be available between 5.30pm and 10.30pm.

The business has promised to bring “the spirit of Allianz Stadium to Manchester” – so watch this space while sipping vino at this glass fronted bar and restaurant.

For Biba Conference delegates travelling to Manchester on Tuesday 13 May 2025, claims management organisation Crawford and Company has the social scene covered with an event based at Cuban tapas and cocktail venue Revolución de Cuba.

Hosted by the company’s UK and Ireland president, Paul Lofkin, between 5.30pm and 9.30pm, the firm has promised to deliver “Cuban flair” for its guests, thanks to “Latin inspired tapas, cocktails and a bit of Havana style nightlife”.

Insurer Aviva will be welcoming conference attendees to its eponymous multiuse space, Aviva Studios, on Wednesday 14 May 2025 from 6.30pm.

While this large, futuristic venue is typically used for local theatre performances or exhibitions, the insurer will be busy setting the stage for its own show for broker partners this May, delivered by Sheffield-based synth-pop band The Human League. Music lovers will be sure to have their camera phones at the ready.
