Roger Sellek will be joining the AM Best as managing director – global financial services for AM Best in early May, the company announced.
Sellek will work from AM Best's London offices and will report directly to Larry Mayewski, executive vice president and chief rating officer of the AM Best.
Sellek is the former commercial director of Lloyd's of London, a post he held for five years. Reporting to the CEO, he was responsible for promoting Lloyd's worldwide and, in particular, for the market's global relationships with its investors and brokers, as well as those with the investment analyst community and other stakeholder groups.
“Roger Sellek is an experienced, knowledgeable insurance and reinsurance professional whose broad experience will be invaluable in helping the AM Best communicate effectively its goals and viewpoints to the marketplace. There is a strong fit between Roger's experience and skills and the demands of this important new role in our organisation,” Mayewski said. “We are extremely pleased that Roger has decided to join our senior management team.”
