Composite Legal Expenses has appointed Groupama Insurances as its risk carrier for before-the-event legal expenses insurance distributed through brokers and specialist affinity groups.
The new partnership will come into effect at the end of March 2004.
Composite had to find a new insurance partner after its previous carrier, NIG Special Risks, announced the cessation of its legal expenses portfolio.
Groupama distribution and customer service director Amanda Blanc said: “Before-the-event legal expenses insurance presents an interesting niche opportunity for Groupama and this scheme offers the potential for a level of profitability and growth that makes it a very attractive proposition.”
