DAS has struck a deal with Fortis to provide helpline services to nearly half a million of the company's clients.
The arrangement is for legal and other helplines including the 24-hour confidential counselling service.
Andrew Parkinson, DAS corporate partnerships manager said: "We will oversee the progressive transfer of helpline and assistance services over the next 12 months. It is particularly pleasing to see that all household policyholders will benefit whether or not they elect for the legal protection add-on. It underlines the high perceived value of telephone assistance services."
It is anticipated that the optional Family Legal Protection policies on the Fortis household account will rise well into six figures.
