Specialist health and accident insurance provider Combined Insurance has restructured its UK Health & Accident operations.

It said a consolidated sales division had been created, comprising the Accident sales operations for England, Scotland and Wales, together with the company’s healthcare operation in Scotland.

Vice president and divisional manager Roy Sandelands has been appointed to head up the new division, which will comprise of 520 sales people.

Combined Insurance said the restructure was designed to assist the company in delivering a consistency in its approach to customers throughout the UK.

Nick Tyers has been appointed divisional sales administration manger for the new department, while Terry Wilson has been made director for training and development.

Combined Insurance's healthcare division (England & Wales) has promoted Neil McKay to the new position of divisional sales development manager.
