Insurer eyes medical technology sector
CNA Insurance is launching a tailored, comprehensive range of healthcare products as part of the flagship CNA HealthPro range.
CNA HealthPro will offer product liability, clinical trials liiability and professional indemnity coverage to medical device manufacturers, boutique pharmaceutical companies and biotechnology firms. Medical professional liability coverage may also be added where there is exposure.
The insurer said it had identified a considerable need for improved protection in the fast moving advanced medical technology sector.
