As reported exclusively by Insurance Times last week, the AA will clean out its top management under new owners CVC and Permira.
Six directors, including director of financial services Clare Salmon, are to lose their jobs under new boss Tim Parker.
In the financial services department, insurance will continue to be headed by Neale Phillips, and direct lending by Lloyd East.
Both Phillips and East will report directly to Tim Parker, pending a new appointment to Clare Salmon's job.
The customer services and marketing and business strategy departments are to be discontinued, resulting in their respective directors, Simon Skinner and Emma Kenny, leaving the company.
The post of general counsel is also to be discontinued, resulting in the departure of Thomas Murphy.
Communications director Karen Myers and head of motoring trust John Dawson will also leave.
