Motorbike broker wins plaudits for scheme
Carole Nash is giving away crash protectors to policyholders taking out comprehensvie policies.
The offer is valid for bikers taking out a comprehensive policy with protectors – or ‘bungs’ – which minimise crash damage to motorcycle frames and fairings available for over 200 models. The protectors can significantly cut repair costs and even prevent the need to make a claim.
The initiative, launched in conjunction with renowned protector manufacturer R&G, has been prasied by Superbikes’ magazine.

Andy Hill, head of motorcycle underwriting at Equity Red Star, agreed saying: “This is a highly imaginative scheme which in promoting Carole Nash simultaneously provides bikers with something for nothing and, more than that, something which is both useful and valuable to them and to the underwriter who can expect to see a reduction in claims costs. It’s a genuine win-win and one which demonstrates the value a pro-active broker can bring to an insurer.”
