Group targets £500m GWP by second quarter
Brokerbility has announced five new additions to the group in the last period totalling £92m GWP.
Those joining the network are:
In the North West: Caunce O’Hara based in Manchester - £17m GWP.
In the South East: Hendon-based Churchill Insurance Consultants - £12m GWP, Norman Butcher & Jones in London - £25m GWP and McMurdo Potipher and Webb in Maidstone - £16m GWP.
In the East: Richmond House Group in Stevenage - £22m GWP
These latest additions brings the total GWP controlled to just under £400m, which was the stated target for the group for the end of 2007.
Brokerbility now comprises five regions - North East, North West, Eastern England, South East and the East Midlands and intends to reach £500m GWP and five full regions by the end of the second quarter of 2008 and in doing so complete the fourth phase of it’s development.
The group has not announced the next stage of it's development yet, but Stuart Randall, director, said the Group has the potential to grow significantly more as it taps into a sector of the market which does not wish to sell, is very independent and which is generally considered too big for the networks.
He added: "Brokerbility seems to be unique within the industry as it is neither a consolidator nor is it a network or an Alliance."
