Underwriter joins Lloyd's insurer Argo from Amlin
Argo International has appointed Nigel Dorning to its casualty team.
He takes up the position immediately and will report to Paul Kneafsey, active underwriter – casualty.
Dorning joins Argo International from Amlin UK, where he was most recently leading class underwriter PI, responsible for overseeing the UK’s PI business, focussing on exposures in construction and miscellaneous classes.
Kneafsey said: “Nigel’s appointment cements Argo’s outstanding breadth of expertise in dealing with the planning and management of the casualty portfolio.
"This appointment complements our strategic goal to grow the casualty underwriting team with the top underwriting talent, entrepreneurial leadership and vast underwriting experience.”
