Arc Legal wins Caravan Guard schemes contract

Specialist broker Caravan Guard has appointed Arc Legal Assistance to provide legal expenses insurance schemes for a range of its products.

The deal covers Caravan Guard’s touring caravans, holiday caravans, park homes and holiday homes business.

Under the deal, Arc legal will provide loss recovery, personal injury, contractual disputes and employment-related cover.

It is also providing enhanced coverage with increased limits of indemnity, the removal of some excesses and some new covers, including eviction of unauthorised occupants.

Arc Legal director Frank O’Malley said: “With over one million leisure caravans currently in use in the UK, and 1.5 million people regularly taking touring caravan and motor home holidays, this is a significant market with specific risks and insurance needs.
