Underwriting agency appoints three BDM's and expects more to follow.
Commercial insurance underwriting agency APC has appointed its first three business development managers (BDMs) as it rolls out its plan to expand its regional presence.
The new team members, who joined this week, will create the UK regional platform required for APC to double revenues within three years and triple them within five.
Ryan Squire, previously director of operations for Broker Network Insurance Brokers, will work with APC’s brokers in the Midlands and North Wales.
Paul Craig will work with brokers in North London and the East of England. He joined from retail broker Boothby Taylor, where he was both a director and business development manager.
Andrew Yemm, previously BDM for South West, Midlands and South Wales for Holmans, joins the team to continue looking after the needs of brokers in the South West and South Wales.
APC said additional BDMs are also expected to join the company shortly.
The business has segmented its target regions as the North West / North East and Yorkshire, The Midlands and North Wales, North London and East of England, South London and The South East, The South West and South Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
APC director Ian Russell said: “We are delighted to have been able to attract new BDMs with such a depth of knowledge. Ryan, Paul and Andrew will provide a great service to our brokers and will be APC’s experts on the ground.
“We have great relationships with all of our broker partners but want to provide them with the support they need when they need it and where they trade. The appointment of BDMs across the UK will do just that.”
