APC rolls out new Shopkeepers' product
APC Underwriting is adding a new Shopkeepers’ product to its broker trading platform QuoteMac.
The product is designed both for independent shopkeepers and franchised retailers with single shops and portfolios. APC said it provides an extensive range of standard cover with a wide variety of optional extensions available including theft by employees, legal expenses and specified all risks.
The product involves a streamlined statement of fact proposal form and is issued with a comprehensive, easy to read policy wording and policy summary.
APC’s Underwriting Director Ian Russell, said: “The new Shopkeepers product has been in development for over six months and I am delighted with the outcome. The standard cover given is extremely vast and the product has competitive rates with large no claims bonus available so we expect it to be welcomed with open arms by our brokers and their clients.”
The launch comes just after a corporate rebrand. The company which was formerly known as Anglo Pacific Consultants, is now trading as APC.
Russell added: “As we have become more familiar with our clients and the market in general, we have been unofficially known as APC for some time now and so we thought it was time to introduce this as our official brand. The exercise has allowed us to reiterate our values to the market and position ourselves as a fresh, forward-thinking, service orientated underwriting agency and we will continue to be focused on our flexible underwriting approach with all our new products. The new brand provides a raised platform from which we can launch the next phase of our development and our brokers will be seeing at least one more new product release by the end of 2007 with a variety of new products being released in 2008.”
