Allianz Cornhill has opened a new commercial sales office in Cardiff to source and handle new business enquiries.
The company currently has 14 regional offices delivering to regional brokers. The Cardiff office employs six members of staff in existing roles with a new focus on the specialist Welsh region.
Allianz Cornhill said the new office was a direct result of broker requests for more local representation.
The company's existing commercial business will continue to be administered in Bristol.
Allianz Cornhill chief executive Andrew Torrance said; "This is a very exciting development for Allianz Cornhill Commercial and underlines our commitment to brokers to grow through the deployment of local expertise."
