Ace USA is to offer a business interruption policy for loss of income and expenses relating to orders from civil authorities to evacuate an area.
Ace USA would offer cover of up to $25m for incidents relating to the threat of terrorist attacks, said a report.
The product, called Ace Threat-Protect is designed to respond even if the covered facility sustains no damage and is not the target of a threatened attack.
In addition, the coverage would respond regardless of whether the feared attack was from foreign or domestic terrorists, said the report.
