Zurich Difficult Risks will offer employers' liability (EL) insurance for UK professional yacht crews registered with the Navigators & General.
The cover will be provided by Zurich London, and aims to help those skippers and crew who have found EL insurance difficult and expensive to obtain.
The new cover, launched on 1 April, limits claims to £5m for any one claim. The cover is only available in conjunction with the client's yacht policy.
