Zurich has launched a new service - Zurich Private Clients -which provides bespoke insurance products for the high net worth market.
The launch follows the completion of a successful pilot across the UK at the beginning of the year.
The service comprises a home product, which includes cover for second and third homes and provides world wide travel cover and a motor product which includes a breakdown service and covers all vehicles under one policy, including vintage vehicles and motorcycles.
General manager of Zurich Private Client Dave Parry said: "What we are looking at is a policy package with a service angle. Every customer will have an account manager who tends to go out and visit the client. If you are a high net worth customer, we should then be able to look after everything for you. What we try to do is eliminate the admin and the mundane work."
"We are pitching for the top 5% of the UK," he said. "We believe that many of these [households] have not had their insurance needs properly assessed both in terms of adequacy of value and standard of cover."
Parry said the new service combines a high degree of technology and IT with a Œhands on¹ approach. "This allows us to offer customers the level and depth of service we feel is required," he said.
Zurich will be working closely with brokers who have a specific knowledge of the high net worth market.
