Bodyshop repair network will service first notification of loss calls
Gibraltar-based insurer, Zenith Insurance announced that it has appointed Nationwide Network Services to provide first notification of loss and accident management services on its range of motor insurance policies.
Policies include private car, commercial vehicles and taxis. This two-year appointment follows a competitive tender process.
Nationwide Network Services is the accident management arm of Nationwide Crash Repair Centres, the UK’s largest wholly owned bodyshop repair network. It provides a complete one-stop-shop for accident management and repairs.
Under the terms of the agreement, Nationwide will service first notification of loss calls from Zenith policyholders, and arrange all repairs for comprehensive covers.
Commenting on this appointment Trevor Webb, general manager of the technical and supplier claims integrity division, said: “Nationwide has a well equipped and extensive network of accident repair centres throughout the UK. The team has a proven track record for customer care and extremely high service standards, as well as operating a highly cost effective model. Their appointment will not only ensure that our brokers and their customers experience a first-class claims service, but will also help us as we continually seek to reduce our claims costs and improve our administrative expenses.”
Michael Wilmshurst, chief executive of Nationwide, said: “We are delighted to forge this new relationship with Zenith, which represents a further step forward in the growth of our business, and we look forward to developing our involvement with the business further over the coming years.”
