Public sector risk manager Zurich Municipal has appointed Alan Woof as its new underwriting director.
Woof replaces Alex Paterson, who is transferring to work on some specific projects prior to his retirement later in the year. Paterson has been with Zurich for 40 years.
Woof, 45, has been with Zurich Municipal for 24 years. For the past 12 years, he has also been a member of the ABI's liability committee.
Zurich Municipal is part of the Zurich Financial Services Group.
