Brendan Shelley becomes director of client advocacy

Willis Group has announced the appointment of Brenda Shelly as Willis North America’s Director of Client Advocacy, and Senior Vice President.

Shelly has assumed this role from Eric Joost, who now has global responsibility for developing Willis’ Middle Market segment.

Commenting on Shelly’s promotion, Don Bailey, CEO of Willis North America said: “Brenda’s multifaceted brokerage experience and track record with Willis make her a perfect fit for the position. She understands how to best serve our clients needs and we are incredibly fortunate to have her in this role.”

Shelly joined Willis in the San Francisco office in 2003 to lead the West Coast Executive Risks Practice. In 2005, she became part of the Willis North America management team.
