Vauxhall has launched a plan to boost insurance and warranty sales.
Its finance arm joined forces with Car Care Plan, the vehicle warranty specialist, to provide full time finance and insurance experts in car showrooms.
Andy Gilson, Vauxhall's retail sales director, said: "Dealers who join will quickly gain the benefit of a highly-motivated finance and insurance sales manager without the constant headache of finding, training and retaining such a person."
The finance experts will offer a range of insurance policies including MOT, warranty and payment protection.
Participating dealers will be offered a shortlist of candidates for interview under the scheme, which will be managed by AMS Automobile Marketing Systems.
The scheme is being launched this month and 20 dealers have registered so far.
