Independent motor trade insurer Tradex has entered the Sunday Times Fast Track of Britain's 100 fastest growing companies.

The company was placed in 87th place with an annual sales growth of 66% between 1999 and 2002, from £8m up to £37.4m. This is the first time Tradex has featured on the list.

Tradex chief executive Roy Clegg said the placement was extremely flattering. He said the company had continued to enjoy a good period of sustained growth in the UK.
