Former Paymentshield boss handed new role
Towergate has appointed former Paymentshield director Neil Galjaard as its group change director.
Galjaard has been insurance director of Paymentshield since April 2007 and prior to that spent three years at Lloyds TSB Insurance as partnerships and product development director.
He will join the Towergate Partnership executive management team, reporting directly to group chief executive Mark Hodges
“A great deal of work has been taking place within Towergate to identify the key initiatives and improvements that will enable us to drive significant growth,” said Hodges.
“In this new role, Neil will focus on ensuring the delivery of these key strategic priorities.”
He added: “With change being delivered at considerable pace and allied to a strong acquisition pipeline for 2012, we look forward to driving our business into what is undoubtedly a new era.”
Galjaard added: “To be tasked with directing change within Towergate is a very special opportunity. The insurance market continues to be fascinated by our growth strategy and execution.
