Towergate appoints new director

Towergate Coverex has appointed Mark Blair as assistant director.

Blair will be focusing on the development of large organiser businesses using the existing knowledge within Towergate Coverex and his own experience in the sector.

Blair was previously commercial director for CMP, Lexis Nexis and was sales and marketing manager of Hiscox Events division. He will report to Towergate Coverex managing director John Harrison.

Blair said: “I am excited to be given the opportunity to use my experience to help clients deal with the business issues that they are facing during these challenging times. Towergate Coverex has made some innovative product developments that will make a real difference to the organisers day to day running of their business."

John Harrison added: “I am delighted to have Mark Blair on board, a great addition to a this recently enlarged Towergate team that is leading the way in the development of Event, Media and Film Insurance, direct and wholesale."
