Three men have been charged in connection with a “crash for cash” insurance scam.
The men from Bolton, Manchester, were charged as part of the police investigation Operation Contact.
The operation has investigated hundreds of road traffic accidents in Lancashire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester and their links to potentially bogus insurance claims.
Ershad Khan, 22, and Iqbal Khan, aged 48, both of Argo Street, were charged on Tuesday with conspiracy to commit fraud.
Ettorina Hay, 28, of Kirby Road, who was previously charged with possession of criminal proceeds, has also been charged with conspiracy to commit fraud.
The three men are due to appear before Stockport Magistrates Court next Tuesday.
