The letter from Blackmore Heath managing director Steve Best (14 February Insurance Times) was spot on.
The only topic of conversation in broker circles at the present time appears to be the consistently poor service we receive from our suppliers and I wonder whether any other profession or industry would have put up with it for so long.
However, it is not all doom and gloom. I am consistently impressed with the outstandingly excellent way in which we are looked after by these organisations:
You will notice that this is a very short list. Those insurers who have not yet made the grade now know the standards to which they must aspire.
