Former Heath Lambert director joins to develop property and liability wholesale business
Specialist broker THB Group has reinforced its London market wholesale broking operation with the appointment of Colin Jackson as head of its newly-enlarged commercial team.
Jackson's appointment as a director of THB London Market follows several other additions to THB’s wholesale broking team, including Graham Lawrenson last month.
Jackson was previously director at FSJ, Heath Lambert’s wholesale division, for seven years.
THB said he would bring considerable experience to the team having been involved in London market wholesale for 30 years, much of this time at a senior level.
His principal area of responsibility will be the development of THB’s commercial wholesale business, specifically the property and liability wholesale business.
This will be achieved through working with both new and existing agents of the Lloyd's broker's newly re-branded London market division.
In a statement the company said: "The appointment underlines THB’s continuing commitment to expand its London market operation to focus on its niche wholesale capabilities."
THB London Market is part of the group’s Lloyd’s broker operation, Thompson Heath & Bond, which delivered a strong performance in the AIM-listed company’s end of year results announced in July.
