Cover to include mobile repairs, lock and key cover and lifetime guarantee
Tesco has extended its motor insurance to include van cover.
The supermarket bank’s comprehensive van insurance includes mobile repairs, a courtesy van, lock and key cover, legal cover and a lifetime guarantee on repairs, as standard.
Up to eight drivers can be included per van and 93 days of Euro cover is built in to the policy.
A payment holiday scheme is also available for Clubcard customers, enabling a month’s break on insurance premium instalments up to twice a year.
Customers can add on Tesco tradesman insurance if they need public and employers’ liability insurance or cover for tools and equipment.
Tesco Bank’s managing director of insurance Julie Hopes said: “We understand that commercial vans are an essential part of the smooth running of many businesses, particularly for those van drivers who are self-employed.”
The van and tradesman insurance are underwritten by AXA and third party fire and theft and third party only policies are also available.
