Chairman of Bradford-based broker remembered for his dedication to insurance
Bradford-based insurance brokers T L Dallas Group chairman Colin Dallas has died at home after a long illness.
Dallas was well respected in the business community, and he was well known for his high standards of professionalism and devotion to his clients.
He leaves behind his wife Isobel, and his daughter Polly and his son Mackenzie, both of whom work in the business, and six grandchildren.
A statement from T L Dallas said: “He leaves a great hole in their lives, as well as those of his many, many friends, countless business associates and his team of over a hundred staff throughout the UK – all of whom have been inspired by his example over the years.
“He was well respected and loved within the business community. Anyone who came into contact with him will remember him for his tenacious dedication to his clients, eccentric charm, great sense of humour and limitless generosity.”
There will be a private funeral and a memorial service at Ripon Cathedral on 21 June 2012 from 7pm.
