Swiss Re has said it still expects weather claims to reach SFr 450m this year.
The reinsurer said the claims are linked to California winter storms and floods, winter storm Erwin, Hurricane Dennis and floods in Europe and Mumbai.
Swiss Re also reaffirmed it expects full-year claims related to hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma to total $1.950bn.
